April 13 Karen Sauder “The eternal God is your refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms.”
Karen was admitted to Lancaster General on February 22. Ct scans,
MRI’s and a biopsy confirmed the presence of a very serious brain tumor. On March 31 she was discharged and came home. Dr. Waskowicz and Hospice are providing for her medical needs. Extended family and friends are there for whatever the day or night may bring. Karen remains in a deep sleep with short periods of seeming awareness, even though she cannot respond. She seems however to sense the presence of Randy and her boys. Jared, Derek, and Austin sit by her bed, holding her hand, and talking to her. Randy remains by her side clearly modeling his vow (for better, for worse). He, though encouraged by your short visits, financial giving, and deep faith in his Lord, is supported by your prayers. Praise the Lord for the “family of God”. Through this deep valley, full of questions, the Sauder/Zeiset families have found God to be more than faithful. Continue to lift them up to the throne of grace.
One day at a time, sweet Jesus, That’s all I’m
asking from you. Just give me strength to do every day-what I have to do….. So for today, show me the way-one day at a time.
