Change is Coming
With the restructuring of the committee, particularly for
welfare, I would aim for fair representation for all. I will
aim on strengthening the welfare committee and working
with other college and university welfare services.

Collaboration is the key to success

Welfare involves working with:

 Tutorial System
 College Nurse
 CUSU
 Welfare committee
o Womens’ officer
o Academic affairs and access officer
o International officer
o Undergraduate LGBT Representative
 Housekeeping committee
 Safety committee
 Donations committee

Welfare deals with a broad range of people and issues and my experience as a team leader on a
winning engineering project and committee experience as CUSU Bi Rep will help me get us the
best support.

 Investigate practical ways for exam
stress relief
o Work with Academic Officer on
ways to actively make revision
easier particularly for first years
 Regular welfare committee meetings
so than no JCR committee members

 Help the college get the most from the
new CUSU Student Support Officer
