Jit Singh Ji’s visit to Seattle

Saints from Vancouver, BC visited Seattle for having a congregation on Sunday 23rd
May, 2010. It was attended by nearly 50 saints and was presided by Rev. Jit Singh Ji
from Vancouver, BC. He was accompanied by three other saints including Rev. Sanghera
Ji.

Congregation started with the verse of Holy Avtar Bani. Saints shared their thoughts in
the form of speech, inspirational stories, and devotional songs. Kids took active
participation in the congregation by spreading the message of the mission in English
language thus promoting the EMS. There was baby shower ceremony of Rev. Ridhima
Oberoi Ji; everyone blessed the would-be mother by singing songs of happiness and also
sharing the experiences of motherhood.

Rev. Anjna Ji shared views on implementing the teachings of True Master in life. She
gave the example of story of King Yudhister and Guru Drona that just by learning the
teachings in Gurukul is not enough in life; it also requires the practical implementation of
those teachings in life.

Presiding from stage, Rev. Jit Singh Ji gave the message that everything in this Universe
is going to end one day except this omnipresent and omnipotent formless God and this
can be realized only by the grace of True Master. He added that saints and sages have
taught mankind to spend their life in devotion and true devotion requires complete
surrender to this Nirankar and make oneself free from the bondages of this materialistic
world. Man keeps on thinking that life is too long and there is no need to spend life in
remembering God and then suddenly one day life gets over and man is devoid of God
knowledge. He further stressed blessed are those who get opportunity to get this divine
knowledge.

After the congregation, community meal was served. It was followed by baby shower
celebration by cutting the cake, dance performances and games. May Nirankar bless all
the saints to rectify the shortcomings and fulfill the duties of spreading the message of
mission.
