4. One of the equal sides of an isosceles triangle is 3 m less than twice its base. The
perimeter is 44 m. Find the lengths of the sides.

5. There are 2.25 times as many days of fog per year in Vancouver as in Winnipeg. The
total number of days of fog in both cities is 65. How many days of fog does Winnipeg
have per year?
