Joseph Bishop This Indenture made the [?] day of September in the year of [our] Lord
To one thousand Eight hun[dred] and Thirty three Between Jos[eph]
John Parks Bishop and Polly his wife of the town of [?] and County of Cayuga & state
of New York of [the] first part and John Parks of the town of Southf[ield] and county of Oakland and
Territory of Mich[igan] of the second part Witnesseth that the said [party] of the first part for and in
consideration of [the] sum of Three hundred Dollars Do grant bargain sell and confirm unto the said
party of the second part and to his heirs and assigns for ever all the certain piece or parcel of Land
situated in the town of Southfield and in the County of Oakland and in the Territory of Michigan being the
North West quarter of Section No Twenty three in Township No One North of Range No Ten East
supposed to contain one hundred and six[ty] acres of Land. Together with all and singular the
hereditaments and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaining To have and To hold
the said premises above described to the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns forever. and
the said party of the first part for his heirs Do covenant grant promise and agree to and with the said party
of the second part his heirs and assigns the above bargained premises against all and every person or
persons whatsoever Lawfully or Equitably claiming or to claim the Whole or any part there of forever to
Warrant and Defend In Witness whereof the said party of the first part have hereunto set their hands and
seals the day and year first above written Sealed and delivered in the presence of

On this the 27th day of September 1835 personally appeared before me Joseph Bishop and Polly his wife
to me well known to be the persons described in & who executed the within deed and the said Joseph
Bishop did Acknowledge the deed execution thereof and the said Polly his wife in a private examination
separate and apart from her said husband did acknowledge she executed the said deed freely and
without any fear or compulsion of her said husband. Therefore Let it Be Recorded.
