Polk Street Dallas, Dallas County Texas by Suspect Khalid Williams B/MASMM. Complainant R. Melennan was transported to Methodist Central Hospital where he was pronounced deceased at 2:19 a.m, by Dr. Cassie Hartline. On September 4", 2017, at about 1:44 a.m, an unidentified male caller dialed 911 to report that there was a shooting and someone had been shot in the head. Dallas Police patrol officers responded to the offense location and found the Complainant lying on the sidewalk with a gunshot wound to the head, Dallas Fire Rescue #33 transported the Complainant to Methodist Central Hospital. Dallas Police officers located a witness at the offense location and identified him as Me; Mama S/MIME, TX, drivers license # UT. Witness GQUNMNMWF advised the police officers that he had been Ruth the Complainant just prior to the shooting and witnessed what happened. Witness QIN stated that he and the Complainant (driver) were traveling north bound on Polk Street near Legendary Lane in a vehicle. Complainant Mclennan observed a subject at the DART bus stop that he had been arguing with recently. The Complainant stopped the vehicle in the street and got out of the vehicle to walk over to where Suspect Williams was standing. Witness AIIM advised that he got out of the vehicle to talk to {wo unidentified B/F's that were arguing with each other next to the same bus stop, Witness Jams advised that he then heard two gun shots next to where he was standing and tumed around to see the Complainant lying on the sidewalk bleeding and Suspect Williams tucking a pistol into his waist band Suspect Williams then calmly walked northbound away from the Complainants body. Witness zaaam advised that he attempted to call 911 to get help for the Complainant but his phone was not working, Rei kins interviewd Witness ANB at the Homicide Unit and he stated that he has known Suspect Williams AKA "Calico" for about fifteen years, Witness QHIMINIM advised that the Complainant and Suspect Williams had been "beefing* for awhile over a "lick" that was unsuccesful. Witness mam stated that he was about five feet away from the Complainant when he heard the two gunshots and tumed {2 s2¢ the Suspect tucking a pistol into his waist band. Witness QM also advised that he could pick Suspect Williams out of a photo line up. Detectives, during the follow up investigation, were able to determine the identity of Suspect Khalid Wiliams AIS # G08 and a line up was presented to Witness @AllaM by Dallas PD Fusion Detective Jeffrey Abeare #6803.
