Burma: Myo Yan Naung Thein calls for

“boycott junta‟s planned sham 2010 election”


The following is the hand-written letter of Myo Yan Naung
Thein, a prominent leader of the 88-Generation Students and
a Burma Democratic Leader who has been working for
democratisation of Burma with pragmatic approaches. He
spent nearly a decade in prisons due to his leadership role in
1996 Students‟ Demonstrations and he was tortured very
seriously during the interrogation until he became paralysed
due to his leading role in 2007 Saffron Revolution.
