SUNDAY SCHOOL for all ages begins next week, SEPTEMBER. 12.

Children’s Education: Parents are asked to bring their child to the classroom, sign in and fill out a registration
form. Registration forms can be found on the info post if you would like to get this task done ahead of time.

Adult Education: This month Dr. Rev. Wayne Brouwer, professor at Hope and WTS will give us “A Fresh
Look at the Old Testament”. Also in September, “Reformed & Missional,” a DVD presentation and discussion,
featuring the Rev. Dr. Richard Mouw.

SENIOR HIGH YOUTH GROUP

Let’s get the year started with a party! Meet in L24 at 5:30 p.m.

STARTING WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 15, 2010

WEDNESDAY NIGHT PROGRAMS

WEDNESDAY NIGHT suppers and programming will begin SEPTEMBER 15. Supper will be served from
5-6:00. A donation of $3/person or $10/ family is suggested for those who are able to help offset the
cost. Cadets/GEMS/Kingdom Kids for ages 4- 5th grade is from 6-7:30, Junior High Youth Group begins at
6:15, and Adult Bible Study on the Minor prophets will be offered from 6-7:00.

CHANCEL CHOIR

The Chancel Choir will rehearse this Wednesday at 6:30 P.M. in the choir room on the lower level. Rehearsals
are just one hour long. Chancel Choir membership is open to anyone of high school age or older who loves to
sing God’s praises. Prayerfully consider joining this year and using your talents in service to God and the
church. If you have any questions, see Rick or Cheryl Van Oss after church, otherwise just come on

MOMS IN TOUCH

Moms of children, infant through Kindergarten and their children, meet weekly on Thursday from 9:30 - 11:00
a.m. in the nursery for faith and fellowship. All are welcome.

WOMEN’S CIRCLE

The women’s circle at First Reformed Church is open to any women who wish to participate in a group for
Bible Study and fellowship. The Rev. Paul Alderink leads us in Bible Study and sharing. We begin this Fall by
studying the book of Exodus. The Martha Circle meets at 9:30 a.m. on the third Thursday of each month from
September through May. Women do not need to be members of First Church in order to be a part of this
group. Our first meeting will be on Thursday, September 16. The circle has a list of names of people who are
shut in. These people are regularly remembered in prayer, by visits from certain members of the Circle and by
letters and cards. Please call or speak with Adeline Sybesma at 393-0275 to learn more about the benefits of
being part of this group, where women become better acquainted, learn, share, support and care for one an-
other.
BIBLE STUDY

We will be starting our Thursday night bible study on September 16. We will first finish last years book on the
gospel of Luke. Then we will begin a 12 lesson series on the book of Psalms written by Eugene Peterson. All
