 One year of experience in Telecommunication network’s SDH NOC &

O&M environment as a SDH NOC Engineer in Railtel Corporation of
India Ltd ( From May2009 to till date)

SKILL SET IN SDH TRANSMISSION

Hands on Experience on Following SDH Equipments

 Alcatel 1660 &1662 SM

 Tejas Networks(TJ1500,MC16,MC16X,MC4,MC4L,TJ100CP,MC1)
 Fibcom Tellabs (6320 and 6310)

SDH OPERATIONS HANDLED

 Monitoring all the network components and report/escalate/rectify any

degradation/failure.
 Trouble shooting for all failures including Lease lines and related H/w.
 Performing recovery and migration projects, including shifting customer
circuits. Re- planning (re-routing) these customer circuits.
 Analyzing the requirements and planning the circuit routes, for the
provision of new equipment.
 Handling traffic outage of SDH equipment at Network Operation Center in
co-ordination with field engineer.
 AT RAILTEL CORP OF IND LTD

Railtel is a public sector Organization providing Leased lines, VPN, MPLS

Connectivity in various parts of the country.

 Monitoring all alarms in the network and troubleshooting by 24 * 7 NOC

environments.
 New circuits provisioning on Alcatel 1353 RM and 1354 NM, Tejas
TJ1500 EMS. Fibcom Network Manager.
 Diverting the Customer circuits (Vodafone, Airtel, Aircel, Idea, MTS, NIC)
with Minimum Traffic Outage.
 Technical support to field Engineers in case of malfunctioning of
Equipments.

SDH TRAINING ATTENDED

 Attended five days SDH training program in Tejas Networks Ltd at

Bangalore on behalf of Railtel Corporation of Indial ltd.
