About the Proposal

It is a new proposal aimed at forecasting factors that effect the job satisfaction of
policemen in Islamabad City.

Statement of the Problem.

“What factors effect the job satisfaction level of Islamabad police?”

Problem Definition

A: Business Problem. “What are the measures taken


by management to enhance performance by increasing job
Satisfaction?

. Background to the Problem:

Employee satisfaction is important only as it leads to


productivity. Because satisfied people are motivated to put high
level of their efforts but dissatisfied people does not put their
efforts toward achieving goals.
Job satisfaction can be defined as an individual’s general attitude towards his
or her job. Satisfaction and morale are similar terms, which refer to the extant to
which the organization satisfies the need of employees.

Explore the factors affecting job satisfaction.

Sample frame:

I intend using samples from different Policemen in Islamabad City.

. Sampling Method.

Iwill use simple random sampling.

Research Design.

We will use following research designs: -

A. Primary Stage (Problem Definition) - Exploratory


Research Design has been conducted at this stage, helping
us in defining the problem and in secondary data analysis.

B. Final Stage (Confirmation Process) - Causal


Research Design will be used to collect and confirm the
quantitative data and for confirming the conclusions drawn
during the preparatory stage, in order to reach at viable
recommendations.

7. Data Collection Technique.

Qualitative and quantitative data will be collected through: -


A: Literature Reviews.
B: In depth personal interviews.
C: Detailed questionnaires.

8. Data Analysis Technique. Following technique will be used;
