Company Profile :-

 MTS is brand of SSTL ( sistema shyam tele


services)

 It’s a joint venture of sistema group (Russia)


with shyam teleservices (Rajasthan,India).

 Sistema is having 73 % stake and rest is


owned by shyam teleservices.
History :-

 MTS was established in October 1993,


combinely by three companies
 In late 1996, Sistema acquired a majority
stake in MTS and has remained the primary
owner ever since
 MTS has expanded rapidly in Russia largely
through the acquisition of smaller
independent players and became the leading
national mobile operator
