CHILDREN:Parents, To assist us in serving you and your child’s best interest and safety during the times that you haveentrusted them to our children’s ministry leaders we ask that each week a parent or designated adult register/sign in your child and pick up him/her at the end of class. There will be a check in sheet at the entry point of each classroom. Also, Please note the time changes! 2 & 3 years old – 11:00 -11:45 – in Room L10. 4 years old& Kindergarten – 10:50 – 12:00 in Room L2. Faith Journeys 1st – 5th grade – 10:50 – 12:00 in Room L19. YOUTH:11:00-12:00. 6th – 8th grade in Room L23. 9th – 12th grade in Room L22 ADULT:Coffee and Current Events: Grab a cup of coffee and join facilitator, Bruce Eckert, in the library every Sunday for an informal discussion of current events and their relationship to our life and faith.
Fall Focus: October 10, 17, & 24Living on Lordship: The Book of ColossiansSermon Series & Book Study
Adult education is suspending its usual electives for the purpose of everyone focusing on one common themefrom the book of Colossians about the supremacy and sufficiency of Christ. During the Sunday School hour we hope you will attend a discussion group based on the book of Colossians and Pastor Dan’s sermon for theday. Please go to either Room L6 or L11 where a designated facilitator is assigned to help lead theconversation. In addition to reading Colossians some of you may be reading , The Jesus Manifesto. If you would like to enter into a discussion about that book as well as Colossians please go to Room L17.Coming up… Adults: On a scale of 1-10 how happy are you with the quality of your relationships? Are you being heard andunderstood as often as you like? How much time do you spend practicing for difficult conversations? Orrevisiting those that haven't gone so well? The Rev. Randy Smit will be teaching a Sunday School class themonth of November on COMPASSIONATE COMMUNICATION: Connecting from the Heart. Rev. Smit will help you to: find ways to express your self, discover practical ways to strengthen your relationships, andtransform anger and conflict. It is possible you could bring more harmony at home, effectiveness at work, andpeace in the world. Class size is limited to 16 so please sign up at the info post in the narthex.
