MEN’S & WOMEN’S SINGLES RULES

 15minutes per game, coin toss to decide who starts.

 Group Stages- Win: 3pts, Draw: 1 pts, Loss: 0pts. Top two players from the group go through.
 License rule – player must first score a white seed first, only when done does he have the
freedom to score any color.
 Red seed rule –there are 2 ways that a player can put this red seed in:-
1) A direct hit followed up with any other seed. If the follow up fails
the player puts the red back in the board and another seed that he
has scored before back into the board.
2) An indirect hit, or in other words a back-shot, is performed on the
red seed. This will result in the player keeping the red without
having to follow up with another seed.
 Red Circle on Board rule- when player is hitting and chooses to place it on the red circle, the
striker has to fully be on the circle or not at all.
 Straight shots only- Shots are only allowed to be taken straight, no backwards shots.
 Points- Black 1pt, White 2pts, Red 5pts.
 Striker in the hole- If player shoots the striker into the pocket, player pays a penalty of one seed
from his owning of any color.
 Line rule- From where a player is seated there will be two lines parallel to each other. If a seed is
to be touching this line, player is not allowed to hit this seed directly. If it is hit directly, it’s an
automatically one turn forfeit.
 Game end- Game can end in two ways, at the end of 15minutes or when there are no more
seeds on the board.
 Draw at the end of 15minutes- At the end of 15minutes, the result is a draw. During the group
stages, a draw is a draw. During the knockout rounds, if it’s a draw at the end of 15minutes, 3
minutes of extra play will be played where all the seeds will be put back into the board and
same rule applies with the person with the most points at the end of 3minutes wins. If a draw
still persists, a sudden death will be played out where a seed will be placed in the middle. Both
players will play it out till the first person gets it in.
 Players are only given 5 seconds to take a shot.
 REFEREES DECISION IS FINAL!

determine the teams color.
