SFX 01 [Crowd at zoo]

SFX 02 [Tram approaching]

Zoo Guide 01 Ok children, let’s go to the first animal. That’s the tiger, can you
all see. Ha! Ha! That’s it It’s roaring. Can all of you hear.

SFX 03 [Tiger roaring]

Zoo Guide 02 I am sure all of you can see the tiger. It has black stripes on it’s
back and I am very sure that all of you have heard about it’s sharp
teeth. Tigers have sharp teeth because they eat meat, so they are
called carnivorous.

Pupils A_01 Where does tiger origin from, sir?

Zoo Guide 03 They can be found in our country and other countries such as India
and China.

SFX 04 [Tram moving away and stop]

Pupil B_01 Look! There are the elephants.

SFX 05 [Elephant trumpeting.]

Zoo Guide 04 Children, look at the elephants. By looking at it’s trunk, you can
know that it is more like a hand to them.. They use it to eat, drink
and do all sorts of things with their trunk. Can you see the young
elephant?

Pupil C_01 Yes. Wow! Look at the young elephant. It’s so cute. What is it
doing near the mother elephant?

Zoo Guide It’s called a cub. By the way, elephants are mammals, so they give
005 birth to a cub.

Pupil D_01 So elephants are mammals like us too.

Zoo Guide 06 Yes, that’s true. Okay, let’s go to the next one.

SFX 06 Tram moving away and stop

Zoo Guide 07 Children, can you see the animals on your left?
Pupil E_01 No, I can’t see anything. Where are the animals? I can see the
trees only. I don’t see any animals around here. Where have they
gone?

Pupils B_02 Wait! Wait! I can see the trees moving. Yes, now I can see the
monkeys on the tree. Hey! Look at them, they are jumping around.
I wish I can jump around like them.

SFX 07 [Monkey excited vocal]

Zoo Guide 08 Monkeys are experts on climbing trees. They have long hands to
hold on to the trees when they are climbing. They eat fruits and
green leaves so they are called herbivorous.

Pupils D_02 I had always been seeing monkeys at the back of my


grandmother’s house. They love stealing food from the house.

SFX 07 [Birds chirping and tweeting]

Zoo Guide 09 Ok children, now we are passing by the birds territory. You can see
variety of birds here and they are so adorable.

Pupil C_02 Yeah, look at the parrot. It’s so lovely. What do birds eat?

Zoo Guide Well, birds feed on grains, fruits, worms and so on. It all depends
10 on the type of bird. Ok, shall we proceed on to the horses section

SFX 08 [Tram moving away and stop]

Pupil B_02 Hey! Look at the white horse. I had never seen a white horse
before. I had seen the brown but not the white. By the way what
do horses feed on?

Zoo Guide 11 They eat hays and carrots.

SFX 08 [Horse neighing]

Zoo Guide 12 Anyone wants to go for a horse ride?

Pupils A_02 Yes, we would love too.
