I like many places. I enjoy many spots. Here are three of my

favorites.
I’ll start with the zoo. The animals are amazing. Some are
cute and some are ugly. Some are very strange. I like to pet
and feed them. I enjoy seeing them perform.
Museums are cool, too. The exhibits are terrific. The displays
are fascinating. I like famous things. I enjoy works of art.
Maybe someday my work will be there. History tells me
about the past. Science shows me the future. From
dinosaurs to robots, I love it all.

Finally, amusement parks are a blast. I’m crazy about wild rides.
Roller coasters are the best. It’s fun to scream and to be scared.
I don’t care if I get dizzy.

 You can also say this sentence in this way:

 Here are three of my favorites.

 “Here is/are …” is a common sentence.
 E.g.

• Here is a little gift I bought for you.

我将从动物园开始说起。那些动物都很棒。它们有些很可爱，

 The animals are amazing.

 You can also say this sentence in this way:
• The animals are really great.

 We can use “amazing” to describe something that is great.
 E.g.

3. Some are very strange. I like to pet and feed them. I enjoy seeing
them perform.
有些动物很奇怪。我喜欢摸它们还有喂它们吃东西。我喜欢看它们
表演。

 I like to pet and feed them.

 “pet” here means “touch”.
 You can also say this sentence in these ways:
• I enjoy touching them and giving them food.
• It’s fun to touch them and give them something to eat.
