2. He loves to talk to animals.
3. Turtle wants to go to the beautiful blue lake with the
geese.
4. The parrots, the monkeys and the snake saw Turtle
flying with the geese.
5. The animals were right about how Turtle can’t stop
talking!
Grammar – Using adjectives to compare

 An adjective is a describing word.


 They can describe the difference between two things.
Ex –
1. the long stick 2. the longer stick
(long + er = longer)

 They also csan describe the difference between three things.


1. the long stick 2. the longer stick 3. the longest stick
Spelling – prefixes un and dis

 When we add the prefixes un and dis beginning of the word , it shows the
opposite meaning.
Ex 1 :
- Jenny always eats healthy foods.
- Sally always eats unhealthy foods. 
Ex 2 :
- The teacher liked the welcome dance.
- The audience disliked the welcome dance. 
Punctuation – Contractions

 Contractions are words that have been made smaller. A letter or more than a letter
have been left out and an (‘) apostrophe is used in the missing place of the letter
which is left out.
Ex :-
- He is  He’s
- They are  They’re
- We are  We’re
• He’s crying because he lost his toy.
• They’re watching the TV.
• We’re playing Hide N Seek.
Vocabulary - Linking words

 Linking words connect your ideas in your text.


Ex :-

1. First – First I get up from my sleep.


2. Next - Next I go to the washroom and have a bath.
3. Then - Then I brush my teeth.
4. Soon - Soon I get dressed to go for school.
5. Finally - Finally I goes to school.
Writing – Writing a description

 When writing a description our senses are very useful and this helps to the
reader to understand the story in their mind.
