animal, person, thing, or thought.
Adjectives include words that describe
what something looks like and what it
feels like to touch, taste or smell.
Adjectives can be colors or words that
describe temperatures and sizes.

Adverbs
An adverb is a word that describes how
an action is carried out. Adverbs can
change or add detail to a verb, adjective,
or even a whole clause.
How do you identify an adverb?
It is often recognized by the suffix -ly at
the end of it.

good, bad, cold, beautiful, yellow, soft, happy,
fantastic.
An adverb is a word that describes how an action is
carried out. Examples can be happily, slowly,
silently, carefully. They are often recognized by the
ending –ly.
