 Computer and Preparation

Participants need to bring their own notebook for the training purpose as we do
not provide any notebooks during the workshop.

Software requirement

Participants need to have Android SDK and Eclipse installed in their notebook
before attending the training.

1. Download Android SDK starter pack from :

http://developer.android.com/sdk/index.html

2. Download and install JDK (version 5 or 6) from:

http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/index.html

3. Download and install Eclipse from:

http://www.eclipse.org/downloads/

4. Follow the instruction listed from:

http://developer.android.com/sdk/installing.html

5. Once completed, try the tutorial on Hello World application as stated at the
bottom of the installation page in the website. This is to make sure you have
already installed the software properly.

Note:

Participants need to install all the software above before going in the training as it
will be used as the platform for teaching by the trainer.
