Special LEGO tables will be set up for children to actively use their imagination to
create constructions of their choice with the LEGO bricks provided.

MODEL BUILDING

This activity will involve the older children in completing the building of an 8-foot
LEGO model, using equal-sized LEGO bricks, under the supervision and guidance of
specialized personnel who will explain the construction process to them in order to
achieve the desired results.

Children will be separated into groups/teams (based on age) who will take turns, on
a rotation basis and for an equal amount of time, working on the model. Each team
will be responsible for completing a specific part of the model. In between turns,
children can spend their time exercising their creativity at one of the many free-
play tables (work stations) that will be set up.

Upon completion of the construction, and after having admired their masterpiece,
children will assist in taking the model apart, piece by piece, and putting the bricks
back into boxes.
All children will be given a LEGO Award for having participated in this event.
