1) Grand Juries – What are they? How can we
On September 24, the FBI raided the homes of 5 well-known anti-war
and international solidarity activists in Minneapolis, as well as the Anti-
War Committee office. This is a suppression of our democratic rights.
This action threatens our families, our children, and our communities.
This is the U.S. government attempting to silence those who support
resistance to oppression in the Middle East and Latin America!
-Stop the repression against anti-war and solidarity activists-
-Immediately return all confiscated materials-
computers, cell phones, papers, documents, etc.
-No Grand Jury proceedings against anti-war activists-

Learn about the current grand jury subpoenas, the
history of grand jury fishing expeditions, and what
we can do, from a recent grand jury resister, and
from one of the raided activists.
2) Legal Education Session and Know Your Rights
Training
Sunday, October 10, 4:30 – 7:30pm
Walker Church, 3104 16th Ave. S., Mpls
Learn about the “material support to terrorists” law,
FBI investigations, and what to do “if an agent
knocks”, with experienced lawyers and activists.
3) Contact your Senators, Representative, and
Mpls Mayor and City Council. How will they
respond to these raids with actions and/or
statements?
4) Participate in the defense and support of these
activists. Come to Community Support meetings,
most Thursdays, 7pm, at Walker Church, 3104 16th
Ave. S., Mpls. Next meeting Thursday, Oct. 21.
5) Continue the work that these raids are
intended to suppress! Work for peace and justice,
including international solidarity.
