Notice is hereby given that on Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at 11:00 AM in the City Council Chambers —
Room 208, Gregory I. Kallfa, the Treasurer for the City of Westfield, will publicly auction the following
City-owned property:

Address: 21 Miller Street
‘Terms of the auction are as follows:
‘This property is being sold “where is” and “as is” without contingencies. The City of Westfield will be
conveying the property via a quitclaim deed. Sale will be made to the highest bidder at an open and
competitive auction; however, the Treasurer may reject any and all bids at the sale or any adjournment
thereof which the Treasurer deems inadequate in his sole discretion, Sale shall not be made fo any person
who owes the City of Westfield any monies in the form of previous-incurred real estate taxes, rents, water
and/or sewer charges, overdue gas and/or electric bills, or any other indebtedness,
The highest bidder will be required to sign a Purchase and Sale contract and make a deposit of $3,000.00
on the day of the auetion. This deposit must be in the form of a certified check, money order or bank
check. No personel checks, debit or credit cards will be accepted. ‘The successfl bidder will be requited
to pay the balance of his or her bid within forty-five (45) days of signing the Purchase and Sale contract
and time is of the essence. A sample contract will be available for review at the auction. ‘The City reserves
the right to sell the property to the second highest bidder if the original highest bidder fails to perform
within the required time period. The successful bidder shall be responsible for all applicable recording fees.
