Your recent conduct at the Royal Alexandra Hospital involving both patients and other members of

the medical staff has hen brought to my attention. Based on the reports made to me, I believe
tllat this conduct constitutes a material failure to practise medicine to the standards required for
Ph~sicians practising wthin Capital Health f~cilities and that it is sufficient grounds to immediately
suspend your privileges pursuant to Capital Health's ~'iedical Staff BY!3VVS.

In light of your past Sl irvice within Capital Health facilities and the apparent possibility that your
actibns may have been caused or contributed to by health related factors, I am prepared to

withhold taking formal ilction relative to your privileges in Capital Health facilities if you will agree to
the: conditions outlined' below. Capital Health feels. that these conditions are necessary for the
protection of its patient; and staff:

privileges within CapitaliHealth facilities you will not ei1ther enter onto such facilities (except to
the extent requlreji for treatment, if any) or attempt to have ant contact with Capital Health
staff (medical or o!:herwise) with whom iyou have been in conflict, and their families.

If these conditions (orirnutually acceptable alternatives) are not acceptable to you or if you fail to
comply with them, Caplital Health will be forced to formally suspend your privileges pursuant to the
Capital Health Medical f;taff Bylaws. I
