9th Grade Reflection

For my freshman year, I was at International High School at Sharpstown. I decided to go

there because I thought it was a really good school and also because there were Pre-AP and AP

classes. Another thing was that Mr.Yu had said that there were going to be a lot of fieldtrips and

I love going on fieldtrips. My mom totally agreed because it was really close to the house.

My most successful classes during my freshman year were Theater Arts, Geometry,

Dance, English 1, and Computer class. My most unsuccessful classes were Chinese 1 and AP

Human Geography. I would say that the easiest classes that I had was Dance class and Theater

Arts because what I did in those classes were things I enjoyed doing like acting and dancing. The

hardest class was AP Human Geography because you had to do a lot of reading, studying, class

work, and most of all writing. Homework wasn’t that hard but the class work was very difficult

most of the time.

I would say that the most memorable part from 9th grade was when the whole school went

to KEMAH, a beautiful place in Galveston where there are a lot of exiting rides and a variety of

tasty foods. The best part about going to KEMAH was that everybody got to go and you got to

spend some quality time with all your friends. Another thing is that you got to do things that you

had never done before like getting on a roller coaster and screaming or going to a restaurant with

all your friends and spending over $100 dollars.

These are all the things I did and memories I remember from my freshman year. I had

some great, fun experiences and also at the same time some bad memories that I wish I could

forget.
