1 Introduction Of Nestle Company:


Nestlé is the world's foremost Nutrition, Health and Wellness Company, committed
to serving consumers all over the world. It’s focus on responsible nutrition and promoting
health and wellness is a core value, emphasizing responsibility and sustainability. Nestle
mission of "Good Food, Good Life" is to provide consumers with the best tasting, most
nutritious choices in a wide range of food and beverage categories and eating occasions,
from morning to night.

Nestlé is a leading health, wellness and nutrition company. Food has evolved from being
a necessity to becoming an expression of how we live. Nestlé products are developed to
provide a safe and healthy source of nutrition to all family members.

1.1 Overview Of nestle Unethical Functions:

Nestlé is accused by experts of unethical business practices such as:

• Promoting infant formula with misleading and harmful strategies that violate the
International Code of Marketing of Mother’s milk Substitutes and put babies at
risk.
• Using suppliers that violate human rights (e.g. purchasing milk from Mugabe,
buying cocoa from suppliers that use child slaves) and destroy the environment
(e.g. palm oil from rainforest)
• Controlling and abusing of water sources in its bottled water operations (e.g. in
United States and in Brazil)
• Promoting unhealthy food, especially for young children.
• Nestlé became mired in a controversy for selling genetically modified food in
some Asian countries without labeling them explicitly.

2 Research Objective:

The objective of this research is thus to analyze and examine that why such a big
company business ethics are so illegal so that they can cause person’s death and what is
the impact of these unethical functions on the environment.

3 Research Methodologies:

A descriptive research utilizes observations and surveys. To know the cause and
consequences of the unethical functions and its impact on the global market we will
conduct both type of research. In primary research, we will survey many personnel
managers. A structured questionnaire will be developed and it will be used as the survey
tool for the study. The secondary research will also be conducted it will include other
comparative business research reports, newspaper, magazine and journal content and
the Internet.

4 Desk Research:
4.1.1 Purpose
Our secondary research is to carry out the refined objective and provide lines of inquiry for
the next steps. Specifically, desk research will gather the information that what
circumstances incited the company to take such unethical step.

4.1.2 Procedure
The research will begin with data collection both internal and external mode. Firstly, we will
gather the information through internet, articles, related with nestle and analyze them, to
what extend and in which region did nestle practiced business unethically. We would brief
them accordingly to the topic and make our research unbiased. Following information
would be gathered:

• Which kind of unethical business do nestle practice?


• In how many regions, it is being practiced?
• How many people are being affected?
• Are they allowed to do so?
• Is the company still practicing unethical business?
• Is company accountable to any one?
• What was the reaction of the victim?

5 Qualitative Research

5.1 Purpose:
Given the exploratory nature of some aspects of the objective, we will provide you
qualitative detail information. Focused research will be used to explore and understand the
attitude of a fatalities and potential customers.

6 Quantitative Research:

6.1 Purpose:
This stage is aim to quantify how many customers was being affected by this act. This has
been effective to measure the consequences of that unethical act and also we will provide a
percentage and spontaneous result of the affected people occurred by the Nestlé’s act.

6.2 Population and sampling:


We have made a decision to carry out 100 copies questionnaire and a number of interview
of different size. This response spread the opportunity to identify the potential customer’s
attitude toward nestle.
