1. How characteristics of individual buyers differ in Industrial


marketing as compared to consumer marketing. Explain
informal relationships between participants in industrial
marketing system and why are these considered more important
than formal relationships. ( 10 )

2. (a) Why are known suppliers preferred? (5)


(b) A manufacturing company has an opening inventory of Rs
100. Their annual production is Rs 10000 and they are advised
to keep closing inventory of 45 days. Calculate the rupee value
of closing inventory. (5)

3. Explain the requirements for a good channel supervision. How


will you find a good distributor and keep him good. (10)
