IMEI = TAC + FAC + SNR + spare (15 digits) TAC = Type Approval Code, determined by a central GSM body(6 digits) FAC = Final Assembly Code, identified the manufacturer (2 digit ) SNR = Serial Number( 6 digits) spare = A spare bit for future use, when transmitted by MS it is always zero. ( 1 digit)
