off, do not copy Dr. Burney if you are going to invite him. That would not be appropriate.

You can ask students what opinion they have for other students.
OR

You

can distribute a questionnaire asking each student to vote for a student in each category. That way, you can select some students to give them a title. OR

Give each student an award related to something funny (not rude of course) you know
about each other.

For any of the above three points, do not ask boys about girls of either section, to avoid any
sort of misbehavior.

You can prepare short skits portraying the real class environment, whatever happens during
a class, exam (with or without imitating a real teacher) and you can imitate real students.

You can prepare gags presenting a funny incident happened to any student in the past. Its up to you, but I dont think, inviting Mani as mentioned by Faisal Hasnain, is a good idea
keeping in mind the budget available. This can cost a lot and this would result in costly passes/tickets which of course no one will be willing to pay for. But this is only an opinion. Rest is up to what majority wants.

Again, you can vote for giving titles to the teachers. Or you can ask students to write a few lines about any teacher they like and you can read them out at the dinner/ function. Ask students about their favorite moments. Ask teachers about your whole class or students individually.
