Click to select the first text box from which you want text to flow to a second text box. Follow step A (for office 2003) or B (for office 2007 2007). A. In case of Word 2003 or earlier version: In the Text Box toolbar, click the first icon (Create Text Box Link). B. In case of Word 2007 or 2010: On the contextual Format tab that appears when a text box is selected, select Create Link (in the Text group).

When adding more text to the first text box, the text will now flow from the first to the second text box. You can add more text boxes to the chain. boxes If you want to break a link: In Word 2003 and earlier, click the second icon on the Text Box toolbar. In Word 2007/2010: Use the same command as for creating the link. It is a toggle (Create Link/Break Link).
