Whether building a house and wiring it up or putting together a motorized car; kids will gain understanding of basic electronics and mechanics in a safe environment. With full support and supervision, kids will gain practical experience and problem solving skills as they build and engage projects with batteries, electronic components, wheels, gears and connectors. Red Cross Babysitting Course


If you are 11 years old or older and youve decided to become a babysitter, are you prepared for this important responsibility? Do you know how to change a diaper? Prepare a simple meal? Play games with children of all ages? Prevent injuries and keep children safe? Handle an emergency? A good babysitter knows all of these things. Learning them can be easy and fun with the Red Cross course certied babysitting facilitator. Upon completion of this course, you will receive a manual and participant card. The Prosserman JCC has partnered with BBYO, the worlds leading pluralistic Jewish teen movement to oer Jewish teens the opportunity to connect with one another, volunteer in the community, celebrate their Jewish heritage, prepare for leadership roles and travel the world together, all within a Jewish context.

Regional Programs
BBYO members organize and participate in leadership development conferences and Jewish identity programs as well as social activities like movie nights, dances and sports tournaments. Chapter Meetings
BBYOs renowned leadership model of experiential democracy, with teens leading other teens and creating their own BBYO programs under the guidance of adult volunteers and sta, is carried out through AZA chapters (for young men) and BBG chapters (for young women). Local chapters meet every Wednesday from 6pm to 8pm, in Toronto at the Prosserman JCC (Room 1-23) and in Vaughan at Duerin Clark Community Centre (Room 5).

Commentators You Didnt Know


An advanced class for those ready to take the next step in text learning, using chevruta and class discussion. We will explore some difficult Torah texts: the giants of Genesis, the hardening of Pharoahs heart, and Moses punishment, along with commentators who try and make sense of those narratives.
