GOD LOVES KIDS VISION BECOMING REALITY

At God Loves Kids there are seven elements in every goal accomplished: 1. A God-given vision or mandate. 2. Dening a mission, which is the direction taken or strategy used. 3. Provision, or the ways and means needed for the vision. 4. Putting in place a series of targets or milestones that have to be reached. 5. Actions, which are the work and activities necessary to accomplish the task. 6. Measurements, evaluations, reviews, and corrections which are necessary and traceable to the Vision and its fulllment. 7. Celebration of completion and success with a focus on thanksgiving and honor to God for doing what we could not do without Him.

Our Vision & Mandates

Travel:
One of our most important goals for the coming months is setting up a travel schedule that is ongoing so that we have 4 to 5 regularly scheduled mission trips every year, to which our donors and supporters have contributed.

Romans 10:15: And how shall they preach, except they be sent? As it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the Gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things! It is interesting that God calls the feet beautiful. God could have called the lips beautiful, or the mouth; but He said the feet are beautiful. Why the feet? Because it is with ones feet that the Gospel of Jesus Christ is carried to a needy world.

Throughout the Bible there is a mandate to GO, and we have gone. Direct contact with the children has proven to be one of the most powerful ways to communicate our hearts and Gods love to them. Anointed ministry like this is life changing and creates a cohesiveness with the workers and children that is impossible to get without touching them personally. Ministering one-on-one has an impact like nothing else we do. Over the years those who have gone with us have been a blessing to the children and have been blessed themselves. They come home changed by their experiences and become real champions on behalf of the children and the ministry of God Loves Kids. We invite you to come with us if you are led by God to do so. To go forth into the most remote places in the world and preach the Gospel of Grace and Peace, we must have the

funds to pay for the airfare, lodging, food, gas, and many other expenses necessary to travel. Your nancial contribution would make it possible for us to GO FORTH. If you want to send a donation for travel, please designate that it be used for the travel fund.

Blessing the Children:

Our GLK group came home from Africa last November with the vision of washing the feet of each one of our children and providing them with shoes. Exciting events have come about surrounding this project, including the potential of having 3,000 pairs of shoes donated by a non-prot organization to God Loves Kids. A huge donation of Bibles (and possibly other books) large enough to give each child a childrens Bible of their own. New beds and new bedding for children when the need arises. A project to provide livestock for the schools that would provide ongoing food sources for the children.

Communication:
This year we also made a strong commitment to improving the overall communication of God Loves Kids so that we can better serve the interests of the children, schools, homes, and our donors. Our goal has always been for a sponsor to have a relationship with their child. In years past it has been a difcult process for sponsors to be able to interact with the children they sponsor. Through our new website blog and video communications, we hope to improve sponsor/child communications and between sponsors and God Loves Kids.

HELP GOD LOVES KIDS

If you are a God Loves Kids child sponsor or donor you are covered by the kids in prayer. Now you can be the answer to their prayers.
One of the best parts of working at God Loves Kids is the privilege of getting to work with children who are enthusiastic about following Christ. When I was in Rwanda and Uganda this fall, I was blown away by the intensity of the kids worship, prayer, and devotion. All night prayer meetings are very common in Uganda and Rwanda, so our kids live in a culture of prayer. I was pleased to nd our high school kids at Christ the Rock had organized their own two weeks of prayer and fasting so they could pass their nal exams! If you sponsor a child or give to this ministry, I can assure you, you are prayed for every day and night by our kids. They might not know your name, but they care deeply for you, because they appreciate the person who has given them food, clothes, education, and spiritual training that comes from sponsorship. These children have so little, yet are the richest kids I have ever had the privilege of meeting. They have THE JOY OF THE LORD! We are all praying that God Loves Kids will overcome every spiritual battle we face. The last two years have been full of joy while accompanied by a very difcult season of spiritual battle. I will not go into every battle we have faced but it has created a very real crisis for God Loves Kids and our homes and schools. When a child looses their sponsor our school directors have too much compassion to just send the child away. This means more mouths to feed and less money which leads to hard times. They do what they can they pray with an intensity I have rarely seen in the United States. Many of our overseas staff and teachers have made very real personal sacrices to be a part of the ministry to kids. When we asked one of them how she handles her problems she replied just prayers.

unsponsored childrens expenses. We know there is no way of changing the lives of so many children without facing very real spiritual opposition and circumstantial challenges. We also know that our God is greater than all the issues we face and He will use those in relationships with us to help us. We all depend on Him and are sensitive to what God would have us do. The children will be changed and we will be blessed by seeing His faithful response to our dependence on Him.

Please pray for our ministry and our children.

We are praying for you. Prayer is what we need most to equip us for sharing the love of Christ.

Our most pressing need right now is donations we can use where needed most.
This gives us the freedom to take care of the most critical issues as they arise. We want this year to be one that creates a new strength

Thank you for your faithful partnership in this great endeavor.
