What is CRV?
Beverage containers labeled CRV (California Refund Value) can be redeemed at Certied Redemption Centers. The CRV deposit is 5 per container under 24 oz. and 10 per container 24 oz. or more. Most recycling centers pay by the pound if you bring in a large load, so be sure to have only CRV containers to get the highest possible refund. You also can request to be paid on a per-container basis. If you bring in loads of fewer than 50 per material type just ask the recycler to pay by count instead of by weight.
