Water Works

The human body is made up of mostly water. Water promotes good health in many ways, from reducing the risk of certain cancers to improving short-term memory and weight loss. It is also an essential constituent of the tissue cells and all body fluid such as digestive juices. It can help the skin maintain its youthful appearance by allowing skin to stay pliable. Not drinking enough water can make you fat. When you dont drink enough water, your body secretes a hormone, aldosterone, that causes tissues to hold on almost every molecule of liquid water retention. Also, without enough water being available, the kidneys cannot function properly. They will not be able to manage all the fat. This will now be carried to the next waste station, the liver. The liver is supposed to metabolize the fat and turn it into energy the body can use. If the liver gets too much fat delivered it might not be able to process all of it and it will store the excess fat in the body. Another side effect of hidden thirst is that you may think youre hungry even when youre actually thirsty. Drinking water throughout the day keeps your stomach feeling full and reduces the desire to eat. The colder the beverage, the greater its fat-burning power. Maximize calorie burn by keeping the water ice-cold. If we dont keep our body supplied with enough water we will be in trouble. Topic Sentence: Expressed at the beginning.
