Cut a .5-inch square cleanly through a magazine, yielding dozens of unexpected compositions. Select ten of these small squares to use as imagery in an accordion book about the elements of principles. Each element or principle must have its own page. You will determine appropriate typeface to use for legibility and readability and determine your layout based on what you have covered in this segment. When printed and put together your book will have twenty pages and 2 more pages one Cover and the other a Back cover. List the Table of Contents on the inside cover. In addition to the title, add an interesting and inspiring or thoughtful quotation about design and your name as author. Design a book that you feel will engage your regional and international audience. 2. Scan the squares at 200% and place them into a page layout file in Adobe Illustrator (sized and formatted in 5-inch-square pages.
