SPASH Network Drives Explained

When you logon to a computer at school, you are logging onto the school network and have access to SPASH network drives. This is where students and teachers can save and share files and access software. The drives are backed up regularly. Each has a different level of access for teachers and students so each has a different purpose.

Dropbox: Teachers create folders for students to submit work.

Student Shared: All students and teachers can save and delete files on this drive. Its best use is for quickly sharing files especially during group projects. It is not a place to keep master copies of any files because access is open.
