Before December 23, 1975, the Public Health Laws and Regulations were scattered amongst the many volumes of our statute books. It was tiring, time consuming and difficult to search for them when they were needed. Thus, there was the need to have a consolidated compilation which would serve as the guide for protecting and promoting the health of the Filipino people.
