Dear Prospective Nominees: The West Buechel Economic Development Commission is actively seeking nominees for its newly established board. We are excited to extend this invitation to the general public, as we seek out ways to improve the quality of life of all of our residents. The board is established to promote and push forward the goals and objectives of the commission and will be staffed with selected nominees. The main goal of the commission is topromote the standard of living and economic health of the City of West Buechel, KY. This will involve but will not be limited to: job development, city infrastructure/beautification, regional competitiveness, educational programs, wellness programs, and disaster preparedness. Board eligibility, involves the following:
-Be passionate about the economic development of the City of West Buechel -Not currently an employee of the City of West Buechel, and its city agencies (this includes employee relatives, family members, and spouses) -Can serve strictly on a volunteer basis, this is not a paid appointment -Adhere to the boards meeting schedule, guidelines, protocol, and rules of confidentiality -21 years of age or older -Submit a detailed resume and bio (prior to selection and appointment) that defines relevant experience, community contributions, and expertise, as it relates to the goals of the commission

Interview Schedule/ Appointments Available- We will be interviewing on pre-selected days and will discuss available appointment times with selected applicants.. (Note- Some prospective nominees may be asked to serve on an additional advisory committee).
