VaYera 2011. And He Appeared Gen. 18:1 22:24.

I.

This particular study begins with us finding Abraham sitting underneath the Oak of Mamre. To better grasp the event and understand what has led him to this location, we need to look at the previous chapter Gen. 17:1.

Here we find Abraham at 99 years old being given the Covenant of Circumcision. 99 is the gematria of #2934, taman, a verb meaning to hide, conceal, to keep hidden. Ironically, there are 74 Hebrew letters in this Gen. 17:1, which is the value of Hadassah #1919, Hadaccah, meaning myrtle, the tree from whose branches the booths at Tabernacles were constructed. This word is used only once in scripture Esther 2: 7 and is connected to the Alef-Tav. In this same phrase she becomes Esther, #635, ' Ecter, commonly translated star, the 3-letter root, Samech-Tav-Resh, means to hide, conceal, a hiding place. The Alef appended to the front infers I will hide, conceal. It would seem YHVH is hinting at something being hidden, concealed from the casual searcher. What is it? Remember he has already left Ur of the Chaldees, being obedient to YHVH, yet note the phrase, walk before me and be thou perfect. Herein lies the hidden message! The sentence structure seems to infer something incomplete in Abram, as if prior to this, he was not perfect. Remember the #9? It means the end, the cutting off, of all mans works. It comes just before 10 the completion of Yahs works. Abram is 99 (Sarah is 90) and must cut off the flesh, before Isaac is born when Abram reaches 100! Sarah is 91, (9+1=10) 10 -100 represent the Conception Completion of Yahs plan. 100 is written in Hebrew with the Qoph, which means, the back of the head, that/he which comes after. It was the Qoph that Moshe saw in Ex. 33 the Backside of YHVH Messiah. Thus, a veiled reference to removing the covering or garment of the flesh which was completed in Isaac/Yahshua! It is no accident that 99 is the gematria of the Hebrew phrase, Bigdei Kehuna translated Priestly Garments. Actually, the 99th commandment of the 613 is that of making the priestly garments, coincidence? In fact, the gematria of the word garment #899, beged, is 9 - which can also be translated as #898, bagad,

to be a traitor, to deal treacherously with. It was the flesh, which, became the traitor and had to be cut off! The number 9 also represents darkness (the 9th plague of darkness) which can be seen as a cover or hiding place for light! Ironically, this is followed by the 10th plague, the death of the Firstborn of Egypt and the birth of the Firstborn of YHVH! The same pattern is seen here in Gen. 17. The Firstborn the Flesh must be cut off before the Firstborn of the Covenant is birthed! It is fascinating that the gematria of Abram = 243, 9x27 or 9x(9+9+9). Thus, Abram had to be covered by the Priestly Covering garments which served as a reminder of the atonement provided by the slaughter of the Lamb! Hence, the Hey is added! Gen. 17: 5. Interestingly, this verse has 48 letters the value of #3104, yowbel, meaning Rams horn; this same horn is used to announce the Jubilee and most notably, the inaugural visit of YHVH at Sinai. It is fascinating that we find another appearance being announced at the insertion of the letter Hey into AbraHam! Secrets of the letter Hey! The Sages refer to the book of Bereshiyth as Sefer HaYashar, the Book of the Upright! This word is the root of Israel Yishar-el. Those who stand upright before YHVH. It is said this is because of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob who are introduced in the book. However, because of Abraham it is also rendered HEY-YASHER! It is also worth noting that Gen. 2:4 reveals a peculiar scribal mark:

Note the phrase: When they were created, behi-baream. These letters can be rearranged to spell for the sake of, or because of Abraham! The letter Hey connotes teshuva, to return to YHVH! The gematria of behibareim = 250 the same as Nun-Resh, Niyr, the word meaning Lamp or light. It was Abraham who opened the door into the earth for the Lamp/Light of YHVH to manifest itself after the flood. Remember, lamp/Word/Light are synonymous! Hey also means to reveal uncover, make visible! Throughout Torah the Hey, means Breath, inferring to speak, or breathe. It is the Letter/Word that is linked with light, light with Seed. It was Light, which first covered Adam, (Gen. 2:7 YHVH breathes the Hey into Adam, covering him with light and infusing him with the SEED, he adds the Hey to Adam Adamah) which covering he lost, then Adam attempts to cover himself with a false light, the fig

leaf, #5929, ` aleh, which has the same 3-letter root as foreskin, #6190, ` orlah. The value of Hey is 5; the number of GRACE [favor following obedience] and it is closely connected to the cutting off of the flesh of Man (9) and redemption through grace/obedience, (5). The gematria of Adam = Alef-Dalet-Mem, 45 or 9x5! While adding the Hey makes 45 + 5 = 50, 5x 10 - a Jubilee! We will see the 9 & 5 intertwined in this parsha! Adam was created Circumcised, yet every male born after him must be circumcised why? The part circumcised represents the source of seed/light, it is covered hidden and the veil must be removed! When one is circumcised, he in effect, is removing the flesh fig leaf and putting back on the garment of the Priest Hood, which restores the LIGHT! No wonder Aaron, means Light Bringer The One who restores what was diminished - #175, ,Alef-Resh = Owr, light and the HEY IS INSERTED HERE AS WELL! The Vav-Nun means to make small or diminish! YHVH is consistent! The Encounter at Mamre! All this is preparatory to Abrahams meeting with the Visitors in Gen. 18:1. Lets examine the Hebrew language to make further discoveries.
II.

The title of the Torah portion comes from our first word; VaYera, #720 0, the same gematria as #2296, chagar, to gird, specifically the loins, connecting us again to the Priestly garments with which Abraham is now clothed! It is also the same as Devorah, word of Yah, You heard Brittney remark about the word Plains, #436, ' elown, terebinth or long-lived (covenant tree) whose root, Ayil refers to the Ram. The gematria of this word is 87, the same as #5656, avodah, service, work allowed prohibited during the Sabbaths and festivals. Now, lets examine a bit more:

Mamre, #4471, Mamre', this word is translated vigor, strength. Quite a contradiction since Abraham is at his weakest the 3rd day of circumcision! *See 2 Cor. 12:9 my grace is sufficient for you: for my strength is made perfect in weakness

The root, Mem-Resh, mar, hints at bitterness, rebellion resulting in a cutting off, like that of the Adulterous Bride. In the midst of the dying of the flesh (circumcision) Yahshua redeems us! The Sages refer to the Manifest Presence of YHVH as the MEMRA, spelled exactly the same. Ironically, the gematria of mamre: Mem-40, Mem-40, Resh-200, Alef-1 = 281, the same as dust or ashes, which can be spelled with either an Ayin or an Alef! Aphar! It is spelled the same as #5896, Iyra, a proper noun indicating a Watcher Fallen One! It is also the same as #6172, erwah, a fem. noun used to express the uncovering of ones nakedness, to dishonor and is cognate with the word for nakedness in Gen. 3. Here, Abraham has his loins girded with the priestly vestments, the Word/Light of YHVH, just as Adam did, he encounters the MEMRA THE VOICE OF YHVH MESSIAH, WALKING IN THE GARDEN, who has now come to REDEEM one whos flesh is dying and going to be consumed by the Watcher Fallen One, HaSatan, who exposed their nakedness to dishonor the Husband! This time, unlike Adam, Abraham is not naked, hes covering by the HEY! Another curious note is the spelling of mamre backwords: Alef = I will, Resh-Mem-Mem #7426, ramam, is a verb meaning to be exalted, lifted up. If you remember, Abrahams original name Abram meant Exalted (lifted up) Father, by inserting the HEY of YHVH, it becomes the Memra I will be exalted, I will be lifted up who is cut off, lifted up from the earth! Why this particular time? The language used here makes it abundantly clear this was the season of Passover. In Gen. 18: 3 where Abraham petitions the Visitor to: Pass not away, I pray thee, from thy servant: the phrase is condensed into the Hebrew word, #5674, ` abar, to cross over, pass over. Curiously, the Ayin and Alef
III.

are interchangeable and thus a word play with the first letters of Abraham, Alef-Bet-Resh, and a plural suffix, making it Those who Cross Over. The One petitioned here has the ability to multiply those who cross over eber, becomes Hebrews! The statement regarding a son born a year from now confirms this as Passover, because Isaac was born on this Festival. The following food items mentioned: the word calf, is quite defining! The word for calf, #1121, ben, a son, from #1129, banah, to begin to build (Is. 9:6) a family name It is followed by herd, #1241, baqar, meaning herd, but also the same as the word for MORNING. The Calf to be slaughtered represented the SON OF THE MORNING! It is cognate with the word for Firstborn, #1060, bekor. Thus, the One who would be called Emmanuel, YHVH with us, and the Son of The Morning, The Firstborn of Many Begotten was being slaughtered here! What can we learn? IV. Circumcision, #4135, muwl, to cut off, figurative to destroy. It is the seed of Man that propagates the race, thus to cut off the foreskin is to depict the dying of the flesh. {Rom. 5: 12.} It is used 5 times in these 5 verses! (Gen. 17:23 27. 5 is the number associated with the Hey. A window, to behold, look. It depicts the divine breath, revelation, & light. Thus, circumcision is the window through which the divine Breath, Light, and their revelation are restored to Abram/Adam. It is cognate with #4138, moledet, indicating birth, family, and kindred. This reminds us of Abram leaving Ur of the Chaldees; He is circumcised from their lineage effectively cutting off the generation of Idolatry. Thus, this pattern of circumcision cuts off the birth, kindred of the original begetter Adam, and establishes another the Messiah. Therefore, the Firstborn of YHVH is re-established! The word #4138 moladah, from molad, is the word used for the New Moon drawing another connection of circumcision and the calendar of YHVH and incidentally, the redemption of the Bride that the pattern of both the calendar and the new moon reveal! Circumcision cannot be separated from the Redemption Covenant! It is the male who is circumcised on the 8th day, while the Bride is considered clean on the 7th day at evening beginning the 8th day after her Niddah!

The Rabbis teach that one cannot participate in Passover without being circumcised. This follows the pattern of Abram. Circumcised on the 10th, staked out at the Covenant Tree for all to examine until the 14th. Joshua follows this same example in Josh. 5:10. Circumcision in the flesh follows that of the heart. Yahshua was examined for 4 days to see if he was circumcised (by Torah), as was Abram. As Yahshua dies the Sun is darkened the light of the flesh goes out, while the Candle of Man, the Spirit of YHVH is rekindled in the Earth! 1Cor. 11: 29 32, *Note the words discern & judge, GK. #1252, diakrino, to separate ones self, to withdraw from one, as in circumcising the flesh!
