improe education deliery in 34 depried districts in 10 regions o the country.

1he Company employs a labour orce o oer 200 people. Important unctions and positions in the
irm include Project Manager, Quantity Sureyor, Architect, Superisor loreman, Land Sureyor,
Structural Lngineer, Personnel Manager, Purchasing Oicer, Quality Control Manager, Computer
Programmer, Store Keeper and Accounts Oicer.
Other departments in the organization includes skilled and unskilled labour consisting o Masons,
Block,Bricklayers, Carpenters, Steel Benders, Mechanics, Machine Operators, Driers, Llectricians,
Painters, Plumbers, Security men and Labourers.
1he Company has in place a training programme that encourages employees to upgrade their skills
and add to their personal qualiications and experience and thereby the company`s oerall success.

lrom the onset and up to the present time, seeral o the projects undertaken by the Company are
o high prominence and place higher demands on the innoatie capabilities o the Contractor.
Generally, some o the projects include, schools, sawmills, high and low tension cable installations,
libraries, hostels, laboratories, oice complex and rehabilitation o dilapidated buildings.
Some projects executed by the Company within the last ie ,5, years are detailed below in table 1.1

1he Company owns a number o Plant and equipment such as 1ipper 1rucks, Pickup trucks, Saloon
cars, Cranes, Generators, Concrete mixers, Compressors, Poker Vibrators, loisting Machines,
Larthmoing Lquipment, Scaoldings, Sureying instruments and hand operated tools.
1he Company acquires other equipment and plant on lease agreement. 1able 1.2 below shows the
plant and equipment holding capacity o the Company.
