We are working on putting together the 100th Anniversary Book. Please remember to send me any articles/items that you think should be included. If you are a past president or long time member, please consider sending a short letter or paragraph to be included about your time with the Institute. This book will have to be put together well in advance, so please consider sending information to me as soon as possible. The 100th Anniversary will be a special occasion not to be missed! Some have expressed concern that the event falls before the July 4 holiday. Since July 4 is on a Wednesday, we hope that people will take the opportunity to make it a family vacation in beautiful Vail, Colorado. There will be pre and post conference events planned for those who wish to raft, fish, and numerous other fun things! July 4 celebrations in Vail are also really special and it would be a great opportunity to take it all in. Exciting things continue to happen at RMCMI, thanks for your continued support

The fall was quite a busy time for me. I attended the Utah Mining Association, New Mexico Mining Association and Texas Mining and Rec l a m a t i o n A sso ciat io n annual meetings. It was interesting to see how the other state associations hold their meetings, and to give input on some of our programs as well. Many of our own members are also members of these state associations, and they really appreciated having our participation
