INDYCAR is the governing body of IZOD IndyCar Series, Firestone Indy Lights, STAR Mazda Championship presented by Goodyear and the Cooper Tire presents the USF2000 National Championship powered by Mazda. All letters in INDYCAR are capitalized.

The premier series of INDYCAR, which debuted in January 1996. IZOD IndyCar Series should be used in all references (e.g. IZOD IndyCar Series car, IZOD IndyCar Series champion, IZOD IndyCar Series driver). All letters in IZOD are capitalized. IZOD IndyCar Series should only be used in the first references in text of a document. After the first reference, please drop the . The register mark should not be used in headlines of press releases or media advisories. The co-branded Centennial Era, primary logo is the main visual identification for the Indianapolis Motor Speedway through the 2009-2011 time period. The Centennial Era celebrates the hundred-year anniversaries of the founding of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway facility in 1909 and the first Indianapolis 500 Mile Race in 1911.

The Road to Indy refers to a development series ladder system culminating with a career in the IZOD IndyCar Series and the Indianapolis 500 Mile Race. The Cooper Tires presents USF2000 National Championship powered by Mazda provides a professional, entry-level open wheel training ground championship serving as the first step on the ladder to an IZOD IndyCar Series career. The Star Mazda Championship presented by Goodyear is an open-wheel development series serving as the second step on the ladder to an IZOD IndyCar Series career. The Firestone Indy Lights goal of preparing young drivers for the demands of driving a modern day IZOD IndyCar Series car provides the last step on the ladder to an IZOD IndyCar Series career.

Reproduce logo in true PMS colors, tonal colors or black and white. Never change the color of the logo to match garment colors; however, the use of tonal colors may be approved on a case by case basis. Never alter the logo. Trademark registrations must be visible. Do not use metallic threads for your embroidery products.

USF2000 National Championship


Introduction
In order for an Entrant and Driver to be eligible to earn awards and points, all Entrant representatives uniforms, cars and/or other equipment shall display the required emblems unless otherwise approved by Officials (see illustration 1.1). Each emblem must appear as provided and in the designated color schemes unless otherwise approved. Entrants must submit a sample of the vector artwork and must be approved in advance.

Emblem Display on Uniforms

The current USF2000 National Championship Series emblem (with presenting sponsor emblem, if applicable), in a minimum dimension of 3.132 inches wide by 2.50 inches high in a prominent area on the top left half of the chest; The current Mazda Road to Indy emblem (with presenting sponsor emblem, if applicable) in a minimum dimension of 3.5 inches wide by 2.359 inches high in a prominent area on the top right half of the chest. The emblem(s) of any USF2000 National Championship Series sponsor(s). This includes without limitation the following: 1. Cooper tire emblem in a minimum dimension of 4 inches by 1 inch in a prominent area on the top upper right half of the chest; 2. Mazda emblem in a minimum dimension of 1 inch by 5 inches in a prominent area on the top upper left half of the chest; 3. VP emblem in a minimum dimension of 2 inches by 2.5 inches in a prominent area on the top left sleeve; and 4. Performance Friction Brakes emblem in a minimum dimension of 1.25 inches by 3 inches in a prominent area on the top right sleeve.

All transporters must display the current USF2000 National Championship Series emblem(s) (with presenting sponsor emblem, if applicable) in a minimum dimension of 2 feet by 2 feet in a designated location unless otherwise approved by Officials.

STAR Mazda Championship


STAR Mazda will require certain emblem placement on all Cars, transporters, equipment, Driver suits and Team uniforms in order for a Team and/or Driver to be eligible for awards and points in the STAR Mazda Championship presented by Goodyear. Each emblem must appear as provided and in the designated color scheme unless otherwise approved. Teams are encouraged to submit digital photographs of the Cars, transporters, equipment, Driver suits and Team uniforms prior to March 1st 2011 for STARs review and approval. All equipment, uniforms, and Driver suits may be inspected for compliance with emblem placement requirements at any time. All emblems must be in place prior to the beginning of each Event during the season. STAR may also require the removal of objectionable or conflicting advertising (See Rule 1.4).

Further Emblem Requirements

The STAR Mazda Championship presented by Goodyear emblem is required in a minimum of one prominent location on all pit carts and engineering stands. The emblem is also required on all other team assets, including website, letterhead, media guides, autograph cards, press releases, etc.

This includes without limitation the tire Manufacturer with one emblem on each epaulet of the uniform set along the seams from the shoulder to the neck (see illustration 3.1). The current Mazda Road to Indy emblem (with presenting sponsor emblem, if applicable) in a minimum dimension of 3.5 inches wide by 2.359 inches high in a prominent area on the opposite side of the Firestone Indy Lights logo. The current Sunoco sponsor logo on one (1) shoulder to be eligible for the pole award.

The current Firestone Indy Lights emblem(s) (with presenting sponsor, if applicable) as follows (see illustration 3.2): 1. Series emblem a total of three emblems as follows: One emblem in a minimum dimension of 2.75 inches by 2.38 inches facing forward on top of the camera mount disc; and Two emblems each in a minimum dimension of 1.25 inches by 1.1 inches on the sides of the camera mount disc. 2. Series website emblem one emblem in a minimum dimension of 3.25 inches by .45 inches on the back of the camera mount disc. The emblem(s) of any Firestone Indy Lights sponsor(s) required by INDYCAR including but not limited to: 1. Tire Manufacturer A minimum of four emblems, each with dimensions of at least 2 inches by 14 inches: Two of the emblems shall be displayed on the leading upper edges of the left and right sidepods of the Car (see illustration 3.3); The other two emblems shall be displayed just forward of both the left and right rear wheels on a vertical surface of the Car perpendicular to the racing surface (see illustration 3.4). Firestone logos must be either white, black or red (PMS 485) and contrasting to the cars paint scheme. 2. Award sponsors unless otherwise provided, each emblem must appear just forward of both the left and right rear wheels on a vertical surface of the Car perpendicular to the racing surface in a minimum dimension as specified. Unless otherwise approved, the required area must be free of all other decals, trim and decorations.

The current stacked IZOD IndyCar Series emblem(s) (with presenting sponsor emblem, if applicable), in a minimum dimension of 3.75 inches wide by 1.98 inches high on the uppermost left chest only The emblem(s) of any IZOD IndyCar Series sponsor(s) required by INDYCAR. This includes but not limited to: (see illustration 4.1) 1. Tire Manufacturer one emblem on each epaulet of the uniform set along the seams from the shoulder to the neck, 2. Engine Manufacturer a minimum of three emblems: One emblem displayed in a prominent area on the top upper right half of the chest in a minimum width of 4.5 inches The H emblem shall be displayed on the left sleeve and uniform back yoke in a minimum width of 2 inches.
The Honda trademark is not applicable to Driver and crew uniforms, but is needed for Driver and crew helmets.

3. Fuel Supplier uniforms must display the four color version of the Sunoco emblem on either sleeve of the driver and over-the-wall crew member firesuits in a minimum width of 4 inches. (Required for Leaders Circle, optional for non-Leaders Circle) 4. The Indianapolis Motor Speedway Centennial Era logo should be 3.25 inches wide by 1.844 inches tall on the top shoulder of one sleeve of the Drivers firesuit. (Optional) The current stacked IZOD IndyCar Series emblem (with presenting sponsor emblem, if applicable) on Driver Nomex undershirts in a minimum dimension of 3.75 inches wide by 1.928 inches high on the uppermost left chest only (see illustration 4.2).

The current IZOD IndyCar Series emblem(s) (with presenting sponsor, if applicable) as follows: 1. One stacked dimensional emblem in a minimum dimension of 12.25 inches wide by 6.3 inches high on the left and right sides of the Car on the upper most leading edge of the engine cover. If the emblem is applied by paint, it does not have to appear dimensional (see illustration 4.5). 2. One emblem in a minimum dimension of 7 inches wide by 2.36 inches high on the nose of the Car below the Car number (does not have to be directly below car number) (see illustration 4.3). 3. One emblem in a minimum dimension of 4 inches wide by 1.349 inches high toward the leading edge of the upper sidepod (by the rear view mirror base) for in-car camera viewing on either the left or right side of the car (see illustration 4.5).

The emblem(s) of any IZOD IndyCar Series sponsor(s) required by INDYCAR including but not limited to: 1. Tire Manufacturer A minimum of four emblems, each with dimensions of at least 2 inches by 14 inches: Two of the emblems shall be displayed on the leading upper edges of the left and right sidepods of the Car (see illustration 4.3) The other two emblems shall be displayed just forward of both the left and right rear wheels on a vertical surface of the Car perpendicular to the racing surface (see illustration 4.4). Firestone logos must be either white, black or red (PMS 485) and contrasting to the cars paint scheme. 2. Engine Manufacturer One wordmark emblem in a minimum dimension of 20 inches wide by 2.421 inches high on the left and right sides of the Car diagonally down 2.421 inches from the IZOD IndyCar Series emblem by 2.4 inches on the Engine cover (see illustration 4.5). The third emblem shall be a minimum width of 6 inches displayed on the nose in an INDYCAR-approved location (see illustration 4.5).

3. Award Sponsors Unless otherwise provided, each emblem must appear on the upper portion inside of the left and right rear wing end fences in a minimum dimension as specified. Unless otherwise approved, the required area must be free of all other decals, trim and decorations. Fuel Supplier The four color Sunoco supplied emblem must be displayed on the upper portion to the front of the inside of both the left and right rear wing end fences in a minimum dimension of 4.5 inches by 7.333 inches in the designated award sponsor area (see illustration 4.6). Motor Oil The Entrants Car must display the PEAK supplied emblem in the designated award sponsor location on the upper portion to the rear of the inside of the left and right wing end fences in a minimum dimension of 4 inches by 5.125 inches (see illustration 4.6). Prefer Sunoco towards the front and PEAK towards the rear. Some awards may have additional requirements as it relates to emblem display. This includes: To be eligible for Xtrac Award, Xtrac decal must be displayed in a minimum dimension on each side of the crash attenuator. For exact dimensions, contact Xtrac. To be eligible for BOSCH Award, Entrants Car must display BOSCH decals in a minimum dimension on the nose or the left and right sides of the Car and Driver and crew uniforms must display a BOSCH patch in a minimum dimension and designated location. 1. Fuel Tanks All fuel tanks must display the following emblems: Engine Manufacturer emblem in a minimum dimension on each side of the fuel tank unless otherwise approved by the Engine Manufacturer (see illustration 4.7). Fuel Supplier emblem in a minimum dimension of 6 inches tall by 4.5 inches wide on the front side of the fuel tank (facing pit lane) unless otherwise approved by INDYCAR. Entrants must display the Ethanol emblem on the front of all fuel tanks (see illustration 4.8). Sunoco sign (7 inches by 12 inches) must be displayed on both the front and rear of the fuel vent (fuel tank) during every qualification session and race. Teams must use yellow vent hoses on the fuel tanks. 2. Transporters All transporters must display the current IZOD IndyCar Series dimensional emblem(s) (with presenting sponsor emblem, if applicable) in a minimum dimension of 3 feet wide on the left and right sides of the transporters in a mutually agreed location unless otherwise approved by INDYCAR.
