CPR

1. Survey the scene (Is the scene safe?) 2. Check for responsiveness (hey hey Are you OK?) 3. Call for help (Activate medical assistance) 4. Open Airway (head tilt, chin lift maneuver) 5. Check for breathing (Look, listen and feel) 6. Check for pulse 7. If pulse breathing proceed to CPR 8. If + pulse breathing proceed to AR or Rescue breathing 9. Follow up medical assistance 1.30 Chest Compressions (100 beats per minute) 2. 2 rescue breathing 3. Look listen and feel for 10 seconds. 4. Repeat CPR for 5 cycles. 5. If + pulse + breathing place victim in recovery position. 6. If + pulse breathing proceed to AR or Artificial resuscitation.

Artificial Resuscitation/ Rescue Breathing


1. Survey the scene (Is the scene safe?) 2. Check for responsiveness (hey hey Are you OK?) 3. Call for help (Activate medical assistance) 4. Open Airway (head tilt, chin lift maneuver) 5. Check for breathing (Look, listen and feel) 6. Check for pulse 7. If pulse breathing proceed to CPR 8. If + pulse breathing proceed to AR or RB 9. Follow up medical assistance 1. Give 1 blow 2. LLF for 5 seconds 3. Give another 1 blows then LLF until 24 cycles. 4. If + pulse + breathing, place victim in recovery position.
