About the event: eduNirvanaTM and IIM Lucknows Manfest bring you a multi-stage event based on Economics, often

called the mother discipline in management. An event open to ALL colleges with a quiz-based first round, Economist of the Year will test your grasp of basic concepts in economics and the ability to apply them to real-life scenarios. This 2-per-team event will seek and reward a duo that can live up to its name, literally!

About eduNirvanaTM, a startup in the higher education sphere: eduNirvanaTM is a 1.5 year old startup, whose remit is to transform the education sector in the universe across all levels by improving the learning experience of students. It started with MBA stream, and is creating industry oriented digital multimedia content for relevant courses. Its first lab Economics Lab - is a 35 Hours of interactive multimedia base content, designed to be the most innovative, effective and efficient way to learn economics and its application in industry. The lab covers the practical intelligence, academic excellence and industry readiness related needs of learners around economics, done in a story telling way. eduNirvanaTM is now developing Finance Lab, another pioneer product in higher education space, which will be in market shortly. eduNirvanaTM also delivers classroom based interventions for post graduate students.

Further rules and details about the preliminary quiz will be made available at the assessment center portal when you attempt the quiz. Top 100 teams shortlisted for Round 2 based on results of the quiz.

All 100 shortlisted teams to make a 1 page submission on a subject to be disclosed later. Based on the submissions, top 12 teams will be shortlisted for the final round to be held on IIM Lucknow Campus during Manfest (20 22 January, 2012

DETAILS The top 12 teams, selected on the basis of Phase 1 Round 2 results, will be invited to the IIM Lucknow campus for the final round (a set of challenging elimination contests spread over 3 days from 20 to 22 January, 2012). The last team standing will be crowned Economist of the Year.
