Session Title Teaching Strategies that are Responsive to Learners’ Special Needs

Objectives At the end of the session, the participants shall be able to:
1. Gain knowledge on the responsive teaching strategies for learners’
special needs.
2. Apply the responsive teaching strategies to learners special needs thru
Lesson Planning.
Overview By giving students more agency, the idea is to disrupt old routines
around teaching and learning that make the student dependent on the
teacher for receiving knowledge. Hence, technology changes the way
classroom was, students and teachers adopt the change to make
learning more interesting.

Priming Follow the instruction:


- Let the teachers think outside the box. List all the strategies used in
the classroom.
Activity - Let the teachers list the different strategies that they using during the
blended learning.
Analysis Ask questions:
1. What are the teaching strategies that you usually use/utilize in an online or
blended learning?
2. What do you think is the best strategy that you have used so far?
3. Which among them is effective?
4. Which among them is the not effective?
5. What are your experiences in using these strategies?

applying the strategies they have learned.
