National Seminar on

Haryana in National Perspective

Department of Economics Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak (Established by the State Legislature Act XXV of 1975)

We shall be organizing a National Seminar on Haryana in National Perspective on 14-15 March 2012 under the auspices of the UGCs Special Assistance Programme (SAP) in Economics. The seminar will focus on Haryana Economy vis-a-vis National Economy & other States Economy e.g. Rate of Growth, Structural Change, Occupational Change, Demography, Education, Development Indicators etc.

The paper may be in the nature of an encyclopedia contribution on the subject, i.e. to review and to appraise the current status and recent developments along with some original material so that it represents an advance in our understanding of the subject and place us at the frontier of knowledge. Research papers are invited for presentation, discussion and deliberations during the seminar. Full papers, not exceeding 5000 words (excluding tables and graphs) may be submitted through email: net.sem12@gmail.com by 25th February 2012. All the papers would be scrutinized through Blind Referee Process. Only those papers which are approved by the referees shall be accepted for presentation in the seminar. We also intend to subject these papers to the software of plagiarism. Selected papers shall be published in a book form.
