2012 PERCUSSION WEEK: UPCOMING SCHEDULE:

1) Tuesday, February, 28: 6:00PM-8:30PM: Riverside Middle School Stage Rehearsal: Please make every effort to attend this rehearsal as it is the stage rehearsal before URI as we are competing in the high school trophy division this year. I may likely need volunteers to help move some equipment to Riverside beforehand. Wear regular clothes for rehearsal. There will be CaBBaGE Birthday CAKE!?!?!?!?!? 2) Thursday March 1; 6:30PM Riverside Middle School..Benefit PE Concert for RMS Band: Players arrive by 6:30PM for setup. Students must have all black performance outfits. Adults :$3.00 Students: $2.00 Please help with promotion of this event. Concert time is 7-8PM. Equipment will need to be moved back to store after concert. . 3) Saturday March 3, URI PAS Festival: Students who are taking the bus to URI must report to Riverside Middle School no later than 11:00AM. In order to take the bus, please make sure your permission slip is signed by parent and handed in. Food may be brought on the bus. The PE Competition starts at 1:00PM. And should be done somewhere between 4:00-5:00PM. Students should have usual black outfits, sheet music sticks and mallets. I may likely need volunteers to help move some equipment to URI. Riverside Middle School: 179 Forbes Street Cross route 6 onto Mink St and follow down to lights at Wampanoag Trail. Take left at lights and turn onto first right which is Forbes St. Riverside Middle school is on the left.

Driving Directions to URI Kingston Campus: Fine Arts Center

From the north, take I-95 South to Exit 9 (Route 4 South) in RHODE ISLAND, follow Route 4 to Route 1 South. Stay on Route 1 until the intersection of Route 138 West. Route 138 West will bring you to the University. From the south, take I-95 North to Exit 3A (Route 138 East). Continue east on Route 138 to the University. From Newport, follow Route 138 West over the Newport and Jamestown bridges to Route 1. Take Route 1 South to Route 138 West. Follow Route 138 West to the University.
