Edition #11

From the Commander
I’ve failed to list new members in my column the last few weeks, so I needto make up for that today. Let’s welcome SM Rene Allison, and cadetsCody Crabb, Jonathan Farmer and Nicholas Mota!Just a few more days before the Holloman AFB trip! Please be at HQThursday morning by 9 AM. Lt Vernon will provide more detailedinformation. The hangar is looking better and we’ll be able to find uniform items quickerthanks to the efforts of a few folks. 1Lt Christina Varner, 1Lt Kyle Vernonand Cadets Cody Crabb, Christina Kolas, Robert Vernon and Cam Varnerspent Sunday afternoon arranging lockers and storage cabinets, sortingBDUs and placing them on their respective shelves. Lt Vernon also hauledaway a pickup load of junk and trash. There is still a lot of work to do, sothose that were not asked to help this time should expect an invitation tothe next work day. It was necessary to limit the number of individualsworking in the hangar to keep it safe and manageable.Don’t forget about the Texas Wing Conference in Ft Worth next month. Wewant to have a good turnout, learn a lot and support those receivingawards.
