HIV invades the bodies immune system and shuts down the production of cells that help fight against diseases Once HIV has started destroying those cells they will not be produced thus the destruction of your immune system

AIDS essentially shuts down your immune system thus allowing any disease to invade your body Without your immune system you are vulnerable to possibly any disease AIDS can affect any part of the body because it allows other diseases to attack your body

Fever , muscle soreness, rash, headache Sore throat, mouth or genital ulcers Swollen lymph glands, joint pains Night sweats, and diarrhea

There are currently no known cures to AIDS/HIV There are some drugs that can stop the spreading of Aids momentarily There is also a drug that will lower the chances of Mother to child spreading of Aids

Abstinence Drugs that stop the passing of the disease, momentarily Condom Dont ever share your needles Know who you are having sex with

Aids is fairly common, especially in parts of the Caribbean In the Bahamas every 3 out of 100 are diagnosed with AIDS (3.3%) Nearly 2.3 million people were infected with aids in 2009

Vaccines often times give you a small sample of the disease that usually is dead so your body can defeat it. If you were to get the actual disease your body would know how to defeat it. Vaccines essentially make sure you dont get it so then you cant give it to anybody else
