Winning the cities to Christ, one teenager at a time!

Quotable quotes
You think youre better than the Germans of that era? Youre not, adding: Whom do we say is not fully human today? I would say the same thing about the unborn. Apart from God we cannot see that they are persons.

February 2012

So those of us who know the unborn to be human beings are commanded by God to love those who do not yet see. Mere waiting and looking on is not Christian behavior. Christians are called to compassion and to action. Dietrich Bonhoeffer We need to know that apart from God we would be on the other side of that divide, fighting for what we believe is right. Eric Metaxas, speaking at the February 2012 National Prayer Breakfast, Washington, D.C.

Clarke, age 19, and his girlfriend, Cindy (age 21) th came to Gateway Irvington. He is still in the 12 grade. He told us he preferred to have Cindy abort until he felt the baby kicking and changed his mind. He prefers adoption over parenting, but she is deciding to parent. We discussed his responsibility as a father. We also shared about his need to trust Christ.

Real Life Stories .. we believe the gospel of life begins with the message of
eternal life and continues with growth in holiness.
Randi, age 18 came to Gateway Irvington. She just began Essex County College, looking towards a career in
teaching. We showed her the Harder Truth video because she was undecided as whether to carry to term or abort. According to the Gateway volunteer (Leonor), she was shocked. Leonor introduced the gospel. Randi made a commitment to trust Christ as Savior and Lord. Her pregnancy test was negative. Randi and Leonor agreed to email one another. She was given a Bible.

Ana, age 22, is a believer. She lives alone with her daughter. She is against abortion. She attends a gospel church in
Irvington. Shes been dating Ralph for the past year. He proposed to her today. Her pastor will be counseling both prior to their marriage next year. We challenged her to recommit to chastity. The pregnancy test was negative.
