ONLINE EXAMINATION SYSTEM Introduction:The online examination system will provide a platform for the student to give their examination at their own place .This system will reduce the complexity and consumption of time. The students will get their results in very short time in comparison to those in other system i.e.: manual checking. Existing System:- At present there are some of the institutes which provide the facility of on line examination. Like:-NIIT, Microsoft etc. and rest of the other conduct the examination manually. Mostly all of the institutes follow the trend of manual examination. Hence this leads to a long time consumption right from the beginning to the declaration of the result. Draw backs of the Existing System:1. Conducting the examination manually is not secured properly because in case of paper leak it will be not possible to manage it. 2. It consume more time for the declaration of the result manually. Scope of our system:-With the changing technology in the world our system will provides facility to the student to compete for all categories of examination from their own place and what only they need is just an internet connection on their PC. Our system will reduce the overhead of checking copies and preparing the result manually. As all these will be conducted on-line so a single person or a small team can control it properly without any serious problem. Overview of our project Registration/login module:- In this module the students will register themselves for the appropriate examination for which they are eligible. And the login module will help them to login to their account for the examination or for making any correction in their form. Admin modules:-It will provide the facility to the admin to control the information and data in the system by insert ,update and delete. He will have the authority to cancel any of the registration in case if that is ill-legal. Home:- This page will show the general information about our system and will also display a contact number on which the student can contact in case of any query regarding their registration and exam. Exam schedule: - It will display the schedule of the examination which are going to be conducted in the coming days.

Result :- This page will display the result of the candidate as soon as he/she enters their roll number or registration number. Proposed System
The Online Examination System is a web based application. The system suits the need of Educational Institutions, Primary and Secondary Schools, Colleges, Professional and Vocational Institutes, Universities or Training Academies The product (system) aims at reducing costs associated with conducting exams over a period of time and achieving total automation of examination system-related tasks like registration, publication of results, which leads to a very high degree of system efficiency.

Benefits of our proposed system:1. It will reduce the large amount of paper works required in the manual methods. and possibility accurate result with minimum error will increase 2. The students and the institutes can easily get any of the information just within a single click. 3. Will also save the time consumption of both the students and the authorities conducting the examinations.

FEASIBILITY STUDY
1.) ECONOMIC FEASIBILITY Economic analysis is most frequently used for evaluation of the effectiveness of the system. More commonly known as cost/benefit analysis the procedure is to determine the benefit and saving that are expected from system and compare them with costs, decisions is made to design and implement the system. This part of feasibility study gives the top management the economic justification for the new system. This is an important input to the management the management, because very often the top management does not like to get confounded by the various technicalities that bound to be associated with a project of this kind. A simple economic analysis that gives the actual comparison of costs and benefits is much more meaningful in such cases. In the system, the organization is most satisfied by economic feasibility. Because, if the organization implements this system, it need not require any additional hardware resources as well as it will be saving lot of time 2.) TECHNICAL FEASIBILITY Technical feasibility centers on the existing manual system of the test management process and to what extent it can support the system. According to feasibility analysis procedure the technical feasibility of the system is analyzed and the technical requirements such as software facilities, procedure, inputs are identified. It is also one of the important phases of the system development activities. The system offers greater levels of user friendliness combined with greater processing speed. Therefore, the cost of maintenance can be reduced. Since, processing speed is very high and the work is reduced in the maintenance point of view management convince that the project is operationally feasible. 3) BEHAVIOURAL FEASIBILITY People are inherently resistant to change and computer has been known to facilitate changes. An estimate should be made of how strong the user is likely to move towards the development of computerized system. These are various levels of users in order to ensure proper authentication and authorization and security of sensitive data of the organization.
