100 NEW AMERICAN CITIZENS TO BE WELCOMED AT INDEPENDENCE WEEK NATURALIZATION CEREMONY JULY 7 The spirit of American independence will come alive Thursday morning (July 7, 2011) within the shadow of Independence Hall when approximately 100 individuals from 40 different countries become new American citizens at a special naturalization ceremony that celebrates and commemorates the founding of the United States of America. United States District Court Judge Eduardo C. Robreno of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania will preside over the naturalization ceremony to be held at 10:30 a.m. in the Ceremonial Courtroom of the U.S. Courthouse, 6th & Market Streets. Regina M. Foley, Chair of the Board of Governors of the Philadelphia Bar Association, will offer remarks on behalf of the Association. Motions will be given by Andrew Garcia, Immigration Services Officer, and the Oath of Citizenship will be presented by Aida Ayala, Naturalization Clerk. ###
